Useful hints for finding IT work:
Finding an IT or Telco job in Australia can sometimes be difficult when you don't know where to start. Many still look through newspaper Ads not realising the most efficient way to find job Ads in the IT or Telco industry is via online job searches. A large percentage of people will find new employment via private contacts, networking , so one must also use this avenue. It is very helpful to design a good CV / resume, one that stands out from the crowd. Get some feedback and / or coaching on your interview technique increases your chance of getting that job over the next candidate. Try and speak clear and good English, accented English is not a problem as long as it is understandable. Also it's a good idea to sent your CV out to as many people as you can , even if the job description in the Job AD is not 100% fit. Just apply anyways...after all what's the harm ?
